In 13th November 2014, in Eden Gardens, Rohit Sharma Scored 264 as the highest individual score in the History of Cricket in 50 overs match. Rohit Sharma is 2nd in the ranking in ODI in 2020. In his innings of 264, he smashed 33 fours and 9 sixes against the Sri Lankans. Due to his fantastic innings of 264, India reached a total of 404 for 5 in 50 overs. With Rohit Sharma was Virat Kohli who score 66 of just 64 deliveries. Rohit scored 264 in just 173 deliveries. He was also the man of the match because of his brilliant innings of 264. The Sri Lankans failed to score 405 and scored just 251 all out in 43.1 overs. They lost at a margin of 153 runs. Indian bowler D. Kulkarni got 4 wickets, U. Yadav, S. Binny and A. Patel got 2 wickets each, S. Raina and K. Sharma got no wickets. Only Sri Lankan batsman A. Matthews and L. Thirimanne stood up in the fight.
